If you like to become a part of our fine group or if you just want to hang out with us, check out our various features within our web site, read our Rules, and participate in our Forums and our UT2004 Game Servers.

Our web site is our global portal where we all meet and discuss important steps for our clan as well as for the interested people who like to get more information about the «eS][Clan». We offer various cool downloads, web resources, tutorials, guides and much more in regards to the Unreal Universe so be sure to check it out. A few site updates

Hey there

While getting a bit exciting about the new UT release which will be pretty soon, I'm trying to update the site's content to have also UT3 covered. So far I could update our Downloads section where you will find the Beta Demo and new categories for UT3. Same with the Web Links section. I've moved relevant UT3 sites to the new UT3 categories.

Furthermore, I've started a new survey. Maybe you like to vote Razz :

What do you think about the UT3 Demo?

If you find anything which is outdated or where you think we should update, add, remove something, please let me know and I'll take a look. Feel free to submit your own Links and Downloads if you find anything useful Smile

There will be also a new version of your site software pretty soon which will give me quite some work. It's a larger upgrade than before but it has been pretty updated and we can expect a few nice new features Smile

Unreal Tournament 3 Beta Demo

Hey there

I'm glad to announce that I've just set up an UT3 Demo Server and so far it runs pretty k, also on our server Smile Maybe we're lucky and there will be no need to buy a new server but we have to see first. We shouldn't get too exciting Wink

The server is named: eS_UT3 and runs as a Death Match server so far. I probably will switch to another game type sooner or later.

If you cannot find it in the server browser or having problems to connect, try the following console command:

Code:
open 84.244.146.13:1337

That's our IP of the server and port I've used.

Anyway, the new UT3 looks pretty nice so far and I expect a pretty sweet game once it's hits the floor with a final release. However, I miss the dodge jumps quite a lot Sad It feels somehow faster though, not sure if it's just me Razz I like the style so far and the 2 DM Maps I've played are pretty ...

Hi Smile

Another little updated I've just finished on our site. As with the last update, this mainly fixes issues with the CMS as well as closes security holes to make our site more stable and secure for all of us.

As always, if you find any problems, please let me know, thanks.

Hey there

Just updated our site to the most recent release. It mainly fixed issues in the CMS and fixes some security issues so there is not really anything new.

I've upgraded the shout box. The new shout box has a bit less queries and won't refresh the site anymore when you shout which makes it faster. This version is still beta so there might be issues with it but so far it looks fine.

As always, if you find any problems, please let me know, thanks.

Site moved to a new host

Hey all

Sorry that the site suddenly went down but I was wondering the same when I tried to access the site a few days ago. I couldn't contact my friend anymore where the site was hosted (I only heard that in his country they have a lot political problems right now and I assume it's because of that) so I was forced to take all my files and DB and move to a new host.

During this night I have worked to get everything moved to our new host and I'm happy that it went that smooth. We have no data loss and everything seems to be up and running as expected.

If you find any issues, please let me know, thanks.

Enjoy the site again Smile

Hey there

Well, the clan already knows quite a long time that Sea is no longer a part of our clan but never actually announced it so I thought it's time.

I hope you enjoy what you do and thanks for being a part of our clan even though it wasn't that long.

Cya Smile

New Downloads module for our site

Reads: 2119

Heya

As I promised, I have ported over a new downloads module which didn't work for this CMS out of the box anymore. I really like this download module and it will fix some issues I've noticed with the current built-in downloads module. Though there is one downside to it, namely it will make the site slower. I've noticed that this module uses a lot of database queries. I might be able to reduce it a bit but I don't have a hurry here. I think even though it uses too many queries, it's still ok at least for a site we're using here so I'll try it and see how it goes.

New features for the users:

Basically there aren't many new features to what we had before. The base is more or less the same but you can rate for certain downloads again (we used to have that already with an older version of our site) and give comments, you should be able to upload new downloads on your own with admin approval which would help me to get more downloads for our site without the need of me. The module just has more details co...
