The reason why you have 2 "different" pages where you can change your personal settings is because there are 2 application merged into one system, PHP-Nuke and phpBB2 (Forums). PHP-Nuke got the Account Settings whereas the phpBB2 has the Profile Settings to manage your personal information. PHP-Nuke itself has an account handling as well as the phpBB2 forums. Usually there is no problem between these 2 applications to work together properly together which means you only need to configure one account. It is able to pass your user account from PHP-Nuke to the forums which explains why you do not have to register 2 times to fully use the web site. The PHP-Nuke account takes over your settings to the phpBB2 profile and wise-versa. However, there are bugs causing problems sometimes within these 2 account handlers. We suggest you to configure first your settings within the PHP-Nuke account which can be found in the Navigation called Your Account or in the top navigation. Now go to Change Info and enter all your information you want to provide. Finally, take a look at the forum specific account page called Profile which will show up on a new top navigation within our Forums. You should see that your settings from the Account page were taken over to this page. Now verify that everything is ok and correct your settings which weren't taken over if that happens. You can follow this basic rule: If it is related to the web site itself then go to your Your Account, if it is related to the forums such as avatars and signatures then go to the Profile Settings.

We suggest you to add your avatar within the Forum's Profile page. Scroll down to Avatar control panel and choose the most appropriate option given.

Usually an admin will notice within 24 hours (usually faster) that a member of the site has been banned. Depending on the reason, you may get unbanned within the next minutes after an admin has investigated the ban. We had a few members already who got accidentally banned by hitting a link which was wrong formatted (was due to our set up of certain downloads). There are other reasons why you get banned from the site such as using javascript code in the forums or in search engines provided within our web site etc. As long as you haven't tried to cause any harm to the web site, we will lift the ban as soon as possible.
