eS getting back online again

Hey there
I guess some already thought that we died or something with all the downtimes we have but we will be back online pretty soon again, well regarding our UT game servers at least. The site is another story which might change in near future too.
Ok, first about our game servers. For those who didn't know it already, we had some pretty bad luck during the last months. We have lost 1 of our main HD and also partial backup files of our servers which means we won't be able to restore all of our servers which isn't that bad actually. I was thinking for quite some time before the crash that we have to change some stuff with our current UT server setup since we have too many negative effects recently.
K, going a bit more details now. Our Invasion server most likely won't come back online not only because I have lost one important file but also because it used to be too buggy, the server load was enormous and it also crashed a lot of times. evolved-Systems Rules updated Revision 6

Hey all
I've updated our evolved-Systems Rules to show our latest decisions regarding join requests. One requirement has been updated and another one has been added. I will explain it a bit more detailed here:
1. Minimum Age: The minimum age has been raised to 18+ because we think that it doesn't suit to have people below 18 in our clan. This is mainly due to the fact that our members are generally a bit older.
2. We also have added a new requirement to make it more clear that we are mainly an European clan and want to keep it like that which means we only accept people within Europe.
For both those rules, there can be exceptions but usually not.

Heya all
Yeah that's right. The «eS][Clan» is celebrating the first year of existence. As you may know, «eS][Clan» was founded today last year and I'm really happy to be able to announce this.
Most clans won't last the first year so that's defenately a milestone. I have seen so many clans be founded and after some months they had to close the clan again. The first year is usually the most troublesome year and I hope that's true I think this is pretty the case in our clan too. We have members who I can trust, stayed a long time with our clan already and try to go on with us. This is an important base to develop the clan further. That's also why we have waited so long to play CW's etc. My plan before I founded «eS][Clan» was similar to this:
- 1. year = Building up the clan, practice, try to stay in the scene.
- 2. year = Get in touch with other nice clans (friendlies, CW's), improve clan organisational-wise and playing skill-wise, competitive matches

evolved-Systems Rules updated Revision 5

Heya
I've updated our rules policies to show the latest decisions we have made. I've also fixed some misunderstandings within the rules as well as typos to make it a bit more clear.
The main focus was to get rid of typos and to design and integrate the recruit status into our existing rules and guidelines. In regards to this specific recruit status rules and guidelines, we have decided that the whole recruitment procedure will be more structured and hopefully also a bit more fair for further recruits because the time frame is more or less fixed and the whole procedure split into 2 phases.
The whole recruitment procedure will take about 2 up to 4 weeks. During the first week or 2, we would like to invite you to our private training sessions so we all get used to each other and see how it goes. After that, the clan will decide if you will become a recruit at evolved-Systems and if you make it, you have crossed one of the most important borders on the way to become a full member. Leaving the Nuke-Evolution project (at least for now)

Hey there
I only wanted to inform you that I will leave the Nuke-Evolution project I have worked on the last months. I have decided to do that due to some problems within the team I don't want to further explain.
It's been a really nice time up to some points and I enjoyed learning so much in regards to PHP and PHP-Nuke but I had to make a point for myself. Not only because I wasn't happy anymore but also because of our clan. I used to spend too much time for it and I think the clan fairly suffered due to this. I'd like to spend more time for the clan again and improve certain things which is more a positive message from my side in regards to the clan
Don't expect I will work much more right now. I will see how it goes and need to calm down a bit first. I'd like to use the time to spend more for myself in the first place and will slightly increase the work on the clan during the next months.
How it will go, we will soon I hope

evolved Systems Mapping & Scripting Projects

We have added 2 new features to improve our work with mapping and scripting project we have started. The first addon we have added called Work Probe is a nice tool to report bugs and other annoying (needed) changes to make the map/mutator etc. what it should be. The second tool we've added is called Work Request where you can request further stuff which should be implemented or other suggestions you think should be added. Thanks.
Furthermore, we have structured our «eS][Unreal Engine Developments» Forum to make it easier for the development team as well as for the people who like to help bugfixing and give suggestions or just a simple statement about the project. We encourage everyone to participate in a constructive way so all the mapper/coders, testers and other interested people can help to make those projects successful.

Hi Everyone, I have been wanting to make a mod for unreal for quite a while now, but i dont really know how tho lol I can build maps etc, and models/characters/vehicles in Maya, but the actuall 're-coding' i dont know at all, so I am looking for interested people to make this
This is not a short-term project at all, infact i image that it would take at least 12-18 months to complete, neway the reason i am asking here is because i think this would be a good place to build up a half-decent mod with input and ideas from everyone in eS that lieks UT
My basic idea is a RPG/RTS style game similar to XMP, but on a larger scale, each team would have a base island or planet where resources and weaponry would have to be built up before trying to invade the opposing teams base.
I like the idea of splitting people into diffrent roles as in XMP, and would want to implemnt that somehow.
I am writing up a rough plan for the mod, which i will post at a later date, hope theres some interest, as it will take me a long time to do on my own lol )
Hope this kool for me to post here, would be nice to have a eS Mod, designed and made by eS
