New UT2004 downloads available: UCMP3 & DM-Forbidden

UT2004 eS][AS-Trials Maps Server Rotation 2.6 Released

I've just put together the most recent map rotation from our AS-Trials server. I've added 5 new maps, removed 4 maps due to performance issues or map bugs and updated 2 maps. This map pack comes with 56 maps and the TFA mutator.
This map pack is meant for people who don't like to download all the maps from our redirect server as well as for people who want to practice certain maps offline. Of course, you can use the map pack to run your own server too since I have tried to include all necessary files needed. In the 'Help' folder of the archive you will find a file called eS-Server-AS-Trials-Maps_2_6.txt which includes changelog, installation instructions and credits:

2.0 Installation Instructions
If you have installed version 2.0 or a previous release already, you may like
to delete the old files in your game folder or you also can simply overwrite
the existing files. This map pack only supports the most recent map selection
from our server. Old or buggy maps have been removed. There is no update
package available.
Simply unzip the archive into your game folder and start the trial maps with
Instant Action or similar.

UT2004 Supplement Patches released (CrashFix / v3369-2)

Due to a few important bug fixes which EPIC has worked on to plug the whole regarding the client server crash exploit and the Linux server memory usage problem introduced with the patch v3369, EPIC Games has released a supplement patch for the Linux client and servers v3369-2. To also fix the server crash exploit for Windows servers, you can download the v3369CrashFix from our download section as well as the updated v3369 Linux patch.
If you have downloaded the Linux patch before the 26th December from this site, be sure to update your Linux version with the new patch.

UT2004 v3369 patch released

Epic Games has released patch version 3369 as the 7th official patch for Unreal Tournament 2004.
This patch is completely compatible with the retail version - servers and clients of any flavor can connect with each other.
This patch will not overwrite your ut2004.ini and user.ini files, except to update settings as necessary. This patch
includes all changes made in Patches 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
This patch should be installed *after* installing the Epic ECE Bonus Pack, as it updates some of the game code included
with the bonus pack.

Since we have added Jailbreak to our 4Gibs server (still in testing phase and passworded but should go online soon : ), we also have the mod Jailbreak ready to download in our download section. If you haven't got it already you should try it.
| Quote: | In Jailbreak, like in many other game types, your objective is to frag the opposing players ? but unlike other game types, fragged players go straight into safe custody in the enemy jail when they're killed. To get them out of there, one of their teammates will have to fight his way into the enemy base and trigger the jail release switch that's hidden there (Jailbreak!). It is your task to defend your prison release switch and to free your own teammates when they're in jail. If your opponents manage to get all members of your team in prison, the opposing team will score a point, and your team will die a horrible death.
Jailbreak strongly focuses on team play and forces players to take on different roles for their team as the game goes on: defending their release switch, going into offense to frag opponents, or attacking the enemy base to release your own team members from prison. You'll have to be a versatile player to survive and win a game of Jailbreak. |
