Our Unreal Tournament 2004 InstaGib TAM server has all the standard as well as various custom maps for your enjoyment on the server.
It is important for us to provide a place which is based on fun with a competitive touch  This means we are interested to keep the server free of cheaters, spammers (voice or text) and other people who are disturbing the fun of others. That's why we installed a few mutators to keep track of what is going on on our server. Our Unreal Tournament 2004 InstaGib CTF server has all the standard as well as various custom maps for your enjoyment on the server. Furthermore we installed UTComp, a mutator intended to be use for competitive and tournament play. It's major features include full serverside brightskins for enhanced visibility, hitsounds, colored names, warmup mode, weapon statistics and a lot more.

Hey all
I'm pleased to say that our game server are running stable again. As accounced in the last news article, we had to change certain servers. As you may know, during the HD crash we had, we have lost our wave configuration file regarding our Invasion server which means it won't be back online too soon if ever again. When there is enough time available and out of boredom, I may start a new wave configuration and set it back up again but we'll see. Same goes with our AS-Trials server. Even though it would be up in no time, I decided to let it down for now and see how the current servers perform and if it's any use to us and to the community.
Since we have lost quite a lot of our files, though most I got a recent backup off, I have to organize them properly again such as our download section which was affected as well. Then all our maps we had will take a while as well, though some maps won't get uploaded anymore.

eS getting back online again

Hey there
I guess some already thought that we died or something with all the downtimes we have but we will be back online pretty soon again, well regarding our UT game servers at least. The site is another story which might change in near future too.
Ok, first about our game servers. For those who didn't know it already, we had some pretty bad luck during the last months. We have lost 1 of our main HD and also partial backup files of our servers which means we won't be able to restore all of our servers which isn't that bad actually. I was thinking for quite some time before the crash that we have to change some stuff with our current UT server setup since we have too many negative effects recently.
K, going a bit more details now. Our Invasion server most likely won't come back online not only because I have lost one important file but also because it used to be too buggy, the server load was enormous and it also crashed a lot of times. UTXMP Public Beta 3 Released

A few days ago, FMI has released the 3rd Public Beta of UTXMP.
No need to say that this took way too long IMO but I know that it isn't an easy task as well but still. I will still keep an eye on it since it's one of the best games I've played so far and post news if I find any.
Following up a small introduction:
Unreal 2 XMP, originally developed by Legend Entertainment (released in December 2003) which got shut down unfortunately, will be ported from a group of well-known Unreal coders and mappers within the Unreal Universe called Free Monkey Interactive (FMI). The team also got support from the original developers Legend Entertainment which should make it a really nice piece of work. It will be named as UTXMP which is a Total Conversion for Unreal Tournament 2004 and will be available for free if you own a copy of Unreal Tournament 2004.

Fusix no longer Trial Member

Hey there
You may have noticed as well that Fusix, your trial member, isn't able to join the clan anymore, at least for now. As far as I know he has had a computer problem regarding his graphics card and since he won't be able to replace it with a more or less recent card, his PC isn't able to handle UT anymore unfortunately.
Since this isn't really new and we wanted to wait a bit, I think it's time to remove him from the trial members within our clan. If he decides to rejoin, we will be happy to welcome him here again but until then we have to decline the request for obvious reasons.
I hope he will be able to join us in near future though, would be nice I hope also everything is fine and cya around.

Game Server Problems

Heya all
Since a few days, there's a problem with one of our HD's so that I cannot restart the game servers anymore. Since I'm not at home, I cannot do much right now but I will be here again on Thursdays and I hope I can solve the problem.
I've just wrote another mail to the provider so I hope they take a look until then.
If everything works again, I'll prepare the TAM server too which I hope I can finish since that's what I have promised for quite some time now

Heya
Two members from our clan decided to leave, Leo and Diddle.
Leo will start with a school in the USA to learn better English and afterwards he will start his university career So there is no time left for the clan and he decided to leave us which we totally understand.
We all wish him the best of luck and that he will be successful in what he is planning. Thanks a lot for what you have done for our clan. I appreciated it a lot. I hope we still will see you around sometimes, would be nice
Diddle decided also to leave mainly because of boredom. He is fed up with UT and with our clan as well and since we haven't seen much from him recently, it was fairly obvious to see him go sooner or later.
I also wish him all the best in his future and that he can experience more interesting things.
Even though the clan gets smaller again, I think it doesn't really matter anyway since we need more motivated and active members who also constribute something once in a while so there is nothing really...
