First, sorry again that there were issues with the site. The last server crashed too many times so we had to move to another server. I'm considering to move the provider so we have a stable site again. As you may have noticed, some posts are gone from yesterday so I have to post this news article again.

Anyway, that's not the reason for this article as the title implies. I've spent some time yesterday to update our UTMapPreview module which includes total integration with the site, making it faster, more secure and a bit easier for me to administer. As you can see, there is a new top navigation added to the module so you can more easily navigate to the desired page. There are 2 pages where you can select maps and preview a small thumbnail image. One is categorized into the gametypes and the other one is just all the maps in one list. There's also a changelog for those who are interested in the changes.

You can find the module under the Main Menu on the left side under UT2004 called Map Preview or simply click the following link:

I've also added some description and notes to the menu so it's connected with related forum topics, for example how you can suggest changes etc.

I hope it's also a bit more useful to the users now. Though, to keep the performance fast and bandwidth low, I've decided to use only small images. I know that some images aren't really of good quality but I think you can recognize most at least.
