We will be ready within the next few days and therefore announce our new web site soon. There are still some tasks/bug fixes to do until then and we cannot say exactly when it is solved yet but the plan is to release the site until Sunday, 28 of November.
How it will go on? Well there will be many major changes due to a few circumstances: We mainly will concentrate on our own stuff at the beginning which means we want to start to build up a decent squad for within UT and will focus more on practicing and finish all the remaining tasks. Nonetheless, our content from the forum will remain and still improved to make your game experience a bit better  :
How you can find us and how you can find our new game servers?
When we open our web site to the public I will write an email to all the existing members within this web site. I will give you some information about our web site such as new features and some other important information related to the web site. Our game servers will be up until the end of this week hopefully but it is possible that we will have down times for a few days but we will try to avoid it. When I write the announcement email to everyone and I still don't know where you can find our game servers I will post it on our new site so you can look there.
«eS][Game Servers»:
We are not sure yet how many server we will host but there will be the same servers as we had so far and some more. This means we will have at least the iDM/iTDM/iCTF server and the Invasion server (or a small variation of those servers). As for the Invasion server, we are not sure yet if we will continue to host it in near future. It might be possible that we will shut it down within the next months but this really depends on its popularity and resources we can spend for the Invasion server. Invasion servers in general take a lot of resources and we might need it for other things which become more and more important for the current clan. If our Invasion server still is welcomed a lot from players we probably will continue to provide it but we have to see within the next months. For now there will be still an Invasion server so you do not have to worry If we will use Ovel's mutator we also do not know yet but its likely, we have to see as well.
TGP/eS Private Invasion Event:
Depends on the outcomes within the next months on our Invasion server and its popularity. At the moment we do not think we will provide it anymore due to the fact that the server was empty more or less during the last events. We are not willing to password the server in order to clear out the server when it was almost full before. We made this event basically to have some fun with friends and to test the mutator and bug fix it. Since there seems to be no interest anymore in that, we will not provide it for now.
TGPInvasion:
TGPInvasion in its current form will not be possible anymore due to various problems we had during the last weeks. «eS][Clan», as defined per now, will not host anything related to TGPInvasion on our web site such as the TGPInvasion mutator page with the change logs, the development forums and everything related to it since it will become a mutator as all the others which you can find on the internet and thus give full responsibility back to its developer, Ovel. If you have any questions regarding the mutator, please contact Ovel directly. Since we do not host similar stuff for other mutators such as satore Monster Pack, we will not help with resources in this area anymore. We might have some testing events every now and then but that has to be defined. As for now there is no plan to do so really. Thanks for your understanding.
Future of "TGPInvasion":
The mutator will be split into various small pieces (mutators) to make development more flexible and make it possible to install only specific features from the TGPInvasion mutator. It also will have new names and it will not be related to TGP/eS anymore. What part eS will take over is not sure, but so far eS will not participate with the mutator and its development in any way. Please talk to Ovel if you are interested in that as we cannot provide any further information right now.
TGP|Web Site and Game Servers:
THE TGP WEB SITE AND OUR EXISTING GAME SERVERS WILL BE CLOSED TODAY (25 of November)! We hope that our new game servers will be available soon. Until then you have to find another server to hang out.
Some will not be happy how it develops right now in certain aspects such as everything related to the Invasion server but as it seems that is how it goes. But again, many things are still open and can change any day and we have to see how it will turn out. Thanks again for your understand and hopefully see ya soon. |
