Hi All, in the next couple of months i want to get a new graphics card, coz basically my Quadro is not the best for playing games as it is really designed for pro-3D, so i want a new card, at the moment i am considering the following
Ati's X800X chip
or
Nvidia'z 6800 Ultra
well, i havent kept upto date really with graphics cards, and i am wondering if anyone knows of new developments that are coming in the near futre, i dont want to get a card that is gonna be pushed hard by Doom 3 (hmm lol) I want my card to kick doom 3'z butt infact, so that kinda makes me think the Nvidia chip, as that alwayz benchmarks heigher...but it still seems streched, and i want my card to kick butt in the Unreal 3 Engine aswell!!
also i dont really wana spend ?700 on a games card, but if i have to i guess i will go for a new pro card like fireGL or somthing, anywayz, if you have any ideas for me to look into let me know!  |

Hmm, I don't know really what is going on recently regarding graphics card but I prefer ATI cards over nVIDIA as they usually own in many benchmarks over nVIDIA chips and its also cheaper  |
