I cant see UT2k4 finishing very quickly after UT2k7 comes out, its gonna require a hell of a pc to play well, I am really looking forward to the new ONS gametype tho, definitly gona be playing that myself, also there are allot of really iratating things in UT2k4 (sticky walls for one) which I'd like to see gone, but UT2k4 will be playable on even modest computers, so it wont die....well, Q3A is still going strong init! lol
I hope it doesnt anywayz, coz I am gonna be getting an iBook pretty soon, and that sure aswell wont cope with 2k7 lol! |

no reason why eS cant do both is there? I will be looking to get a new server myself next year, no reason why I cant put 2 2k4 servers (invasion possibly, CTF/LMS/ONS) on it to keep it going for eS if our main server is gonna switch to 2k7....really hope you guyz like the new ONS gametype, coz it lookz amazing, huge team play elementz....its the sort of thing I'd really like to play as a clan  |

XMP 
Well, as I said, if there is enough interest in our clan, I don't really see a reason to drop UT2004.
Also, until UT2007 is out, it still takes quite some time and I hope that you could update your PC until then because I think you will hardly be able to play games anymore lol. Also, if you plan to use the new Windows, it's recommended to have 2 processors and a graphic card which owns (not less than 256 MB  ) so sooner or later you will need a new PC and then you can play also games again  |

well i'm still imprest with the graphics, but well the game play...i had hooped for some xmp like games imbedded in the ut2007.
And i think ut 2003 was one of the best titals not ut99 and ut2004... 
so this artical is not at all oplifting |

How can you judge game play?? Ever played it? As the article says, they will make it so that the game play shouldn't be much different if at all. I think they have to do that otherwise they would loose a lot of fans.
Yeah, I also agree that UT2003 was the innovation really an not UT2004... Everyone is talking about UT99 and UT04 but actually UT2003 made a really nice improvement, not only graphics-wise but also game play wise... The engine IMO is better than the one we have now with UT2004 but guess people only say what PR people say on popular magazines etc. |

well no lol have not played it but well to score a 10+ on game play they would have to emulate XMP there not doing that its just more of the same witch is nice but not very exiting.
just i had hooped for more team play based action and what tere talking bout in this artical is nothing like what i want.
how about xmp feel?XMP trick jumps? UT is not so cool its just very simple and nicly done. I would love to have seen more team play action were you need tacktics XMP style were one man can make a differents but a team action can win the match...well its hart to discribe what xmp is and how it works diferand then any thing ut got...
but it is and it makes it more intresting  |

There will be a new game type, well kinda. It's called Unreal Warfare. It should be something in between Onslaught and Assault but more team-based. Well I wonder how that will be but Epic didn't really convince me so far when it comes to team play
Yeah, I know Scorp. It would be really cool to have XMP built-in. That would make it much easier and it would gain a lot of people again, I'm sure. But I never really hoped that this will happen because it never will I think. I guess they also cannot simply add it since it's still protected somehow. Well, it's much more problematic if they want to make money with it, that's the reason why Free Monkey was able to do a conversion because they don't make any profits. Epic would make profits and I guess that's one of the bigger problems, especially in the USA. |

LOOK! XMP and UT2007's new game type in one sentens!!!
conquest. "Assault is the kind of thing we want to be bringing into conquest...a mix of [Unreal 2's] XMP, assault, and onslaught." Capps describes conquest as a much more evolved version of onslaught with the kind of directed gameplay and the exciting and varied environments you'd expect from assault, which has featured skyscrapers, moving trains, medieval castles, and many other environments.

While the final status of all weapons isn't confirmed (Epic is still going over the list of weapons that may or may not make the cut), Capps said in no uncertain terms, "We can't ship the game without a flak cannon." The bright-yellow, insanely powerful short-range cannon/flak grenade launcher is pretty much an Unreal Tournament classic at this point and will definitely be making the cut untouched.

"We can't ship without instagib"--a mode that's so popular it was even included in the melee-heavy Unreal Championship 2.

| If u do UT2007, I probably will not play more on your server then, because my processor is sh*t. Even if I update->I don't think so that ATIX800GTO will drag the game smoothly. |

well it will take some time for ut2007 will be out...and we first have to see how it looks/feels.
And maybe you will get a new pc for x-mass or somthing!
but as you say now i think your right and ut2007 will not be abele to run on your system as it is.
ow and hey dont forget UTXMP! if thats not ported 2 ut2007 and gets more suport i just might keep playing ut2004 as well. |

UT XMP?? Ha, there are 6 servers, which 3 r passworded, 3 r working with 0 players ->Yeah. UT XMP, Unreal 2 and UT2003 were rubbish, because nobody is playing them. UT2004 is the UT2003 Second Edition. UT2004 Demo is playing the most(most pwns) becasue cheaters will not be banned there. While UTAN PWNS cheaters with their CD-KEY on the RETAIL Version. So DEMO-s will be played the MOST.
