No, the talking icon doesn't have a real effect on the performance lol. As I said, it's the monsters because their tougher than before. I have seen it and it's usually because of the FPS on the client side which causes lag and not the server.
Guess I have to revert the changes again regarding difficulty  Well, I think anyway because now it's really difficult, people leave really soon because it's hardly beatable right now and I only slightly adjusted difficulty |

Yeah no problem  We couldn't even master wave 8 lol with about 6 players 3 times so good luck Though, you know me, I'm not a camper so I die a bit more than others 
But keep in mind, it's not the idea to make it fun for the best players. We need to find a balance so also noobs can play there and so it isn't too easy for the veterans. I think we had a good set up before regarding the waves itself and difficulty so I most likely will revert the difficulty changes and see what else we can do. |

Yeah but then the server was full. Try it with 6 and you won't come anywhere. That's also why it shouldn't be too difficult. The server will never fill up anymore because if you join alone, you die after the first few waves and finally you will leave.
Ou, and those under map cheats doesn't count |

cool, well you pay for the server most of the time so np, hope the noobs who play there are also paying somthing...
Man maybe you can make it so taht after 22:00 te server go's on PW and only members can join, then you could make a new special member status on our site, ppl can pay 1 euro or somthing to be member every month?
Just a idea if your gonna do somthing like this you have too work it out more cause like i just said it it wont work
Would be cool anyway! you can let ppl in with good pings only as member so you can garanty good ping's after 22:00, well just think of the things you can do! |

well I verry much like the server as it is atm...lol what did you aspect...played 1 hower with 2 to 5 ppl and we got around wave 15... you can look it up in the loggs i think was around 19:00 till 20:10 (yea was late at training  ) well verry fun needed to work hard and i was not bored the first 15 waves. That is what killed me with the old settings was to simpel to really try and when your just waiting for wave 15 well...then your not gonna win cause you fuck around to much...
well loved it and yea it will be to hard for most noobs and yea there was some lagg for all of us playing sometimes fps were fine for me at that time..
well to bad the setting will go back... |

Understandably you have to pay for the server and everything, but this is a very bad idea IMO and could seriously dent your reputation, it will look like you're commercialising the servers. Let's face it the server will be empty after 10pm  I'm not even sure if it's legal (you need to look through some terms and conditions).
I think the first thing you could do to encourage donations is move the paypal donate box near the top of the page! It seems like a simple thing but strategic placement of items on a website can do wonders. |

yea true hazal, well just played some more invasion amd well its still to easy with more then 10 ppl on lol i had one guy leaving cause he was bored...and well i could not blame him... i sugest letting the server if it really is harder as it is for some time it takes time for more pro gamers to find us... might be worth it...well was a long time ago whe i played saome invasion games so i'm still a bit off BUT like i said before cant be hard enough really!
Well you know me i need to get better at ut some how...

| Well once I have a workable mutator, there will b private nightz for memberz n invites only anywayz, to try it out no money involved tho, I agree, people wont pay to play invasion, therez plenty of servers around |

Of course, people don't need to pay for it and we couldn't really control it I think. Though the basic idea isn't bad. We had that before and it was pretty popular.
Scorp, it's not up to how difficult it is. You even hardly play there so why should I listen I mean, we need to listen to the people who actually play there. If it's too difficult it won't come anywhere. See, there will be always people whining about things but I don't care about that. The majority needs to be pleased with the settings and not single players. The server was made to have some fun, to meet people you like. If it's too difficult we will lose all this. It needs to be somehow balanced. Also, it still depends a lot on the map you play. Play some smaller maps where you cannot hide really and you will see that you have no chance. I have added such maps to give a bit of a change but people still play this gay Osiris map all the time etc. No wonder it's too easy. You can beat this level in any difficulty.
If you want to get better, change your style a bit. Don't camp, try to attack them, outrun them, trick them etc. like I always try to do. I still can improve my movement/aiming like that but not if I camp Also try to play new maps, difficult maps etc.
I'm pretty sure that this would be legal, Hazel. The idea would be to get the people who like the server and the people who play there regularly. So if you want a good evening, you need to pay a bit. It's not meant in a commercial way at all because ? 1 a month or so is, well, nothing as the server costs much more. It's more the other way round. We could provide a decent evening where I try to make everything perfect. That you would pay because this needs preparation every week and thus getting something back.
Though, I agree that this won't really work because we are not that popular. If the server would be full all the time and many people waiting to join the server, we could try something like that.
Furthermore, as told numerous of times already, the FPS on the client side is a real problem. People with a normal PC won't be able to play there anymore. |

LOL man the main reason I don?t play invasion any more is that there were a lot of nice things added to te game play witch IMO make the game very easy and nothing is done to make it harder again to the old level we were used too?That?s why I don?t play there any more, I don?t enjoy it?
Next up your argument about the nice ppl is bs lol there are also nice ppl who are good?
take a look in our clan! And yes there are less ppl that are good and yes it takes time for them to find us... I understand that you want to keep the server running and love that ppl play there and you don?t wanna lose them, I also understand that you just wanna please as many ppl out there... That is you.
Bout the maps that we played take a look before you say that we played easy maps?
you should know I like the hard maps?always like small maps with no were to hide?
And yes I play to win most of the time! And by the rules, not using map bugs and stuff.
Bout me getting better... By making stupid decisions...SIGH! My strong point is tactics not aim or movement! And I?m not about to take more risks then I do now in game, want to get better with my tactics, that can only be done by better and smarter opponents?
