Hey all
Finally I have done the most part of the upgrade for our website. I will go on completing things which are missing yet.
What has changed? Well, there are numerous of changes including many bug fixes, security & performance improvements and some new features for the users and admin. Some highlights:
- Site is a lot faster due to performance improvements
- Collapsible blocks (will be stored in your cookies)
- New Main Navigation block
- New Donations block
- New Userinfo block
- New Site Map
- 2 new BBCodes -> Google Video and You Tube Video
- Improved BBCode Box for Quick Reply
- New Theme called Centrium-Shellz (you can change themes in Your Account)
I already discovered a few bugs unfortunately but not too bad actually. One is the forum statistics but that seems to be a problem on our server. Then the TeamSpeak module doesn't work with the upgrade anymore. Maybe I find an alternative. I also look for a game server module. Maybe I can fix/port over the old we used or I maybe find a new solution.
For further performance improvements, I have moved the shout box block to the right side on our home page because it uses a lot of resources and thus will make everything else faster.
Please test if the Arcade Games still work. I've heard that it might not record your new scores anymore. I don't hope so. Also test out the new donations block. I really hope that one works for us too lol. I've also noticed a problem with the «eS][Admin» block on the left side. You know, where you can access our UT game servers (WebAdmin). Does that block show up for you or not? Should be just below the Main Menu block. Let me know, thanks.
Other than that, there are a few forum mods missing which I will add later on again. I'm planning to re-add the buddy list mod, country flags, birthday mod and board message mod. What do you think about having the opportunity to also collapse the forum categories? There's a mod which will do so similar to the blocks. Let me know about this mod, I think it could be handy.
I've also removed vWar for now since it's known for security issues but our version should be fine though. I've fixed a lot of problems so that shouldn't be really a problem for our site but because we don't use it really, I won't add it right now. Furthermore I've removed the UTMapPreview module because it was just too much work and our map list isn't up-to-date anymore anyway. The calendar is gone for now too. I think we don't need it right now. All the stuff could be easily installed which isn't available right now so if you think we should have something back, let me know.
If you know something we used before and you would like to have it, please let me know and we can take a look at it. Maybe there's need of a new gallery module again or something similar dunno. For now, there isn't a gallery module available.
Ok, the site is basically ready to be used again. I'm sure you will come across certain bugs but I'm also still working on it so be patient  Feel free to report bugs and other things, thanks.

Thanks. I'm still working on to further improve it Will add the Acronyms mod and the Flags mod back again and then we're set in regards with mods so far. Maybe the collapsing forum categories I've mentioned above? Well, please let me know.
Right now I'm rewriting the theme like it was before we lost the backup of our site. This helps to get rid of theme specific bugs which might occur and also to speed the theme up. I'm pretty finished with the theme, only needs some fine-tuning now.
Also, was asking about the «eS][Admin» block we got on the left side. You should see it just below the Main Menu block. Well, do you see it? I had some difficulties with the permissions so please let me know if it appears for you.
Shout Box is on the right side now when you go on the home page. I made this change so forums and other modules gets loaded faster. The shout box uses a lot of resources and so it's better to not always show it. |

I don't see that block. Below the Main Menu there is only the "Link to us" block and nothing else. |

Ok, thought that there is a problem. I will have to take a look into it more deeply. Also the AUC isn't working correctly yet. Some things are messed up.
Though, other than that I'm pretty happy what I could finish so far. I think it's pretty nice now. Hope you like it too. Feel free to give suggestions etc.
I've added the country flags mod again as well as the acronyms mod. I think we're set up now.
Currently I'm working on fixes for the CMS and I will try port a downloads module which I've already mentioned today so there will be more to come |

I've done a new upgrade on the site including mainly updates/bug fixes.
Some mods aren't done yet such as buddy list, gender and flag. I'll see when I have time to do it. |
