you could always try using emitters to create the fog effect, feel free to steal some from my CTF-DoomedHeaven., on the lower level in the middle of the map , they come out of tunnel things. you could have some vents in the ceiling or something or like towers around the map that come out of the lava and spew or jet out this fog cool idea  |

Hope it's not boring for you but here's the
These are the small changes:
The terrain under the web has new ways directly to the bases with some jumppads.
I changed the positions of the jumppads to the flag platforms and added more blocking stuff to the bases. The torches in the center are removed for more fps.
And now the big changes:
I thought many cave maps have a lava field, but which one has blood pools? Now, Tarantula has 4 pools filled with blood
All playerstarts are moved from the main hall to two new spawn chambers - you will like them I added a small screenshot of it.
I still need the level music and level description from you. Lom, I hope it's not to late to upload the map for testing it today; but no hurry, I can wait until Wednesday
Edit: I have just seen there's an error in the bot path network so this beta version won't work with bots |

i dont like the spawn chambers really...there is only one way too go...and you can get killed as soon as you come out...this anabels a skilled player too start spawn camping and kill everyone who komes out...IMO like the rest of the map...keep it up  |

Yeah, I've noticed as well. Especially if a team is attacking just aim at the spawn point and you most likely will kill someone because most likely there will come out one. Also if you just killed someone you can time it pretty easily until the guy will spawn there again. Maybe you shouldn't place that spawn in middle of the base.
I really like the latest changes, makes the map so much better, nice job FMC I think it's pretty finished, well IMO  |

luv it, but the worm hole tunnle needs making bigger and larger and the teleport needs repositionijng, that will stop people getting "snagged". the web needs trims, its too square and bsp like at the mo IMO, no map has just bsp on the edges, they normally have trims or sumthing to add that detail andmake it look that little bit better. i stil think u need a tower of rock that spits out smoke or fog, keep it pu
you can stick antiportals in the rock towers too  |

or maybe ou can make the worm hole tunnle so that you can go in 2 directions lik a "Y" so you can spwan at 2 points at your base...maybe a camera screen in the spwan room that overlooks the base and the 2 spwan points from the worm hole so yu know were you wanna go inside the worm hole...if that makes sens  |

So many wishes...
The size of the tunnel is k IMO, but it needs some changes to avoid getting stucked.
I can set the tunnel exit teleporter on a higher level and add a small platform or so with some blocking stuff as a kind of spawn protection.

I dunno exactly what you mean. I can make the terrain at the bases higher, so you would walk on terrain, not on flat floors. But I have no ideas for the web itself.

I didn't found one, maybe you know a SM package with some matching towers or rocks, Ini.
Anyway the changes will take some time, pls be patient
As I wrote in a previous post I still need a level description, maybe someone of you could write some scary words  |

hey, this is what i meant by trims, i did a spot the diference with a screeny from my new map im working on. trims are what you put around things to make them look pretty and professional, heres an example
i took the liberty of making you a volcanic tower, it can easily be resized or rescaled to fit your map, and im sure you can find som enice emitters from somewhere. if you cant tho, dont hesitate to ask me for help with the emitters m8
if its the wrong texture , i left the bsp version in there so you can play around, but i advise to just go into the mesh properties and go to display, go down to skins and click "add" then choose the texture of your choice  |

Yea, there should be one more way, right now if the opponent team has a decent sniper its impossible to get in and out of the base.
But i like the net, great to get through with some dodgejumps, just like said above, pretty vulnerable even with the faster dodges. |

If I use a different skin for the volcano, is it possible to scale the texture? It looks to stretched IMO. If not I try to take a new sm from the bsp version. |
