Hey there
If you use Firefox, you may have come across certain extensions already or you may have heard about them. Well, what they do? They basically extend the features of your browser. For example there are extensions which will improve performance, security, privacy and a lot more. There are tons available actually and some are really cool.
The official site regarding Firefox Extensions can be found here. You also can access this page by going to Tools -> Extensions -> Get more Extensions:
Since I use Firefox too, I'd like to list a few I prefer and use myself. Most of those are pretty popular:
- Extra protection for your Firefox: NoScript allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content only for trusted domains of your choice.
- Performance and network tweaks for Firefox.
- Once installed, it's a snap to filter elements at their source-address.
- The first and only download manager/accelerator built inside Firefox!
- Embedding Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.
- Insert smilies from an online database into forum posts, blogs and more!
I'm sure you will find a few extensions for your needs as well, just browse around the site a bit and check them out. Easy to install within a few clicks and everything can be configured throught the extension link under Tools. You also can check for newer releases of the extensions there. If you don't like a specific extension or you don't want it anymore, simply deinstall it from there.
If you got other neet extensions to share, please let us know |

I can't live without All-in-one Gestures anymore. You can browse so much quicker with that, I love it. |

one of Gods own prototypes, a high powered mutant of some kind, never even considered for mass production. To weird to live, and to rare to die. |
