Heya
Dunno if you ever played Operation Flashpoint but IMO that was really a terrific game I played a lot. I also had quite a few friends who activily played it and we even played it on LAN sessions a few times. Well, now there is Armed Assault (Operation Flashpoint 2)  It's pretty like the old one but just bigger and more stuff. New weapons and such and the map is about 4 times bigger than all the old Operation Flashpoint maps together

Unfortunately, my PC is a bit too crappy to play it smoothly so I haven't played it that much yet. I really need a new PC  |

looks just like bf2! Hope i dont insult any gamer by saying that
It's just my first impression anyway. I played Operation Flashpoint as well and did not like it at all then again i never played it online i think, well was a long time ago. Think my friend lamas loved it and had a had somsort of clan thingy going as well, so i'll guess i see the game in action soon.  |

It's really cool. You really feel like a soldier lol and you can play this nicely together. So if he gets it, I suggest you to play some LANs with him, its really nice.
Also, it's difficult. So I think you will like it only because of that. Then it's really realistic and feels like that. You really should try it out.
Like BF2?? Yeah, I feel insulted lol. It's not like BF2 at all. The game feels totally different. |
