Allot of the stuff on the site is hidden until you join up to the forum, as i dont want to give out to much info the general public, there is also a group called K5.DevTeam which you can join if you wana help, this gives even more access to whats on the site Smile

Hope everyone can get time to sign up to the forum and leave some comments an ideas there, and hopefully some of y'all would like to get involved Smile

Hi Everyone, I have been wanting to make a mod for unreal for quite a while now, but i dont really know how tho lol I can build maps etc, and models/characters/vehicles in Maya, but the actuall 're-coding' i dont know at all, so I am looking for interested people to make this Smile

This is not a short-term project at all, infact i image that it would take at least 12-18 months to complete, neway the reason i am asking here is because i think this would be a good place to build up a half-decent mod with input and ideas from everyone in eS that lieks UT Very Happy

My basic idea is a RPG/RTS style game similar to XMP, but on a larger scale, each team would have a base island or planet where resources and weaponry would have to be built up before trying to invade the opposing teams base.

I like the idea of splitting people into diffrent roles as in XMP, and would want to implemnt that somehow.

I am writing up a rough plan for the mod, which i will post at a later date, hope theres some interest, as it will take me a long time to do on my own lol Smile)

Hope this kool for me to post here, would be nice to have a eS Mod,  designed and made by eS Smile

Sounds great and I'd like to support that where you can Very Happy Unfortunately, my skills in that area are pretty limited. I can map a bit and that's it but I'm sure I can give you valuable input and I would be a good beta tester I think Razz

Yeah this would take a lot of time. We can see it with the mutator Ovel is coding. Maybe he has some interests in that and maybe some more, would be nice Very Happy

So far it looks really great imo Very Happy I like the basic idea and I think if it's well thought out it can become something really nice. I got one point though where I'm not sure about but maybe I don't see what you really mean Wink:

yeah its true about the number of players, but i really want to move this mod away from standard FPS games, I would like it to be played well organised in a team, of course Bots could be added to the team... but the thing i hate most about public team servers is the lack of team play, and this game will be highly team-orientated to be able to win Smile

Yep, that's true. I don't like it as well. Where I've found most team play was with XMP Smile We really had some nice games with alot of team work but we also could play it 2on2 for example. Sure it wasn't the same but at least it was possible. I think that's pretty important somehow.

Yup bots can help but dunno if it will be a nice addition really. I guess this will be pretty difficult to do Confused
