Since we had some recent troubles with abusing our site rules in different ways, we decided to split some forum priviledges up into more people as I cannot watch the site/forums all the time obviously.
As you may have seen already, miszt has a new color and will try to help me to keep the forums in a good shape.

I started using the Internet in the early 1990's and was using the Usenet too - hope some of you still know it
In the Usenet many people are watching your way to post: are you on topic, is your signature correct separated, are your newsreader client properties correct, are you qouting correct etc. (Visit more more information). The result were clean, easy readable threads and posts and this is something I miss sometimes here on our site. New users starting new threads without looking for an existing matching thread or posting in a non matching thread.
Well, now my question. Miszt is pretty busy ATM and Lom can't be there always so do we need a second moderator? If yes, I'd do this job and take a look at the forums You can fire me if I mess up to many threads |

I think it's pretty organised here if I look at other forums. There will be always new users who only come to ask things which is explained everywhere, start new topics even if there is a sticky topic regarding this etc. You won't be able to really control that.
I haven't anything against another moderator. The more the better actually but you have to do the job otherwise it's no use.
As I'm pretty close to switch to the new CMS, I think we should wait until then. Bump this topic again if I forget about it, thanks |
