Since Scorpio and I are big fans of Unreal 2 XMP I wanted to let you know that the best community mappers and coders are working on a total conversion for Unreal Tournament 2004. This will be a stand alone game based on the UT2004 engine (so you need UT2004 to play this) and will be available soon free of charge  .
UTXMP offers intense class-based vehicular action in a range of stunning alien worlds, where players must manage energy reserves to power their war machines and battle for the control of four mysterious artifacts. UTXMP players will be given control over a vast array of all-new fearsome weapons, as well as mines, turrets and other deadly automated defenses.
XMP is the best strategic and most addictive game I've ever played because the game is not only based on shoot and running. It's all about strategy and skills. A nice team is necessary to complete the goals, to steal all artifacts.

saw that movie today, well nothing special about that movie.
I mean with special is that the ones that playd XMP didn;t see anything new, but that;s why it;s called promo i guess 
And there not gonna change mutch i guess about the ut xmp game compared too XMP, but guess that;s not a prob for you guys
i hope for you that it;s gonna be more active then XMP but will need too wait and see.
i think there gonna be a bit late with this mod and most people will already played other mods or other games in ut2004 like onslaught(or was it called something else dunno )
but will see how it goes |

Well, hopefully they won't change game play and such because that is what own really. You can maybe compare it with having a new ET on the DOOM3 engine but game play is the same and visuals optimized to the currect engine build. People won't like it if it feels like general UT and it will fail I'm sure. They have to keep the game play and also the characteristics of XMP.
Yes I hope this will give XMP a new hype and actually lets grow it. At the moment XMP is pretty dead unfortunately but we'll see how it comes.
I don't think they're late. You are still playing ET and how old is that? It will be also somewhat new, more polished, more complete. There will be new content as well such as maps, voices and stuff I don't know yet
I'm pretty sure I will like it and maybe I will see some of you there as well. |

Yes,
There not gonna change much! that?s why the movie is so good!
Its looks almost the same! How cool is that!
Just hope it plays the same as well...
( The jumping is so different in ut  )
But I think they got that.
Btw it?s never too late for a good game!
PPl who try the game will see that its much better then games like "onslaught", if they understand the game! ( Some ppl just don?t get how it is played )
So light when it?s out feel free to join me for a game or 2 I will show you what to do
Think there will be a nice tutorial a well...
